Picasso-Cubism

In English we read a Michael Morpurgo novel called "Meeting Cezanne" In the novel we learned about Picassoabd how he was influenced by the great artist Paul Cezanne. In Art last week we looked at some of Picassos works and discussed them. We learned all about his individual style of painting called "cubism".Cubism pictures are very abstract and look like they have been cut up and put back together. Here are some pictures of us creating our own cubist portraits. We drew two portraits and cut them up ands tuck them together. We ended up with two peculiar looking portraits. Don't they look great!

Perfect Attendance

Here we are with our Perfect Attendance certificates! None of us have missed a single day yet this year! Keep it up!

Friendship Week

As part of friendship week we made friendship bracelets.  Then as an act of kindness we gave each person in room 8 ( our neighbours) their own friendship bracelet. They were really grateful for their bracelets and it was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed making them and giving them to our younger friends in third class

Bible Studies

We do Bible Studies every Monday with Colon Sheldon and we learn different hand signs every week. It is really fun and we play lots of different games.

GAA

We are learning GAA skills in P.E. We are really improving every week!
